I've braced myself for the inevitable. It's been a sad couple of off seasons now. Who would have ever thought a year ago that this team would be without Mac, Jax and Shady. INSANE.

i don't think they can afford him unless they find someone to take Andre Johnson and the $16,144,583 he's due in 2015 off their hands first. If they cut him they take a $7,319,583 cap hit. If they can't move him i don't think they can't afford Maclin.
      Houston Texans.
      Cap Space (w/Top 51 & Projected Draft Pool) $13,845,799
      Cap Space (w/Top 51) $18,774,493

Don't they still have the cap hit if they trade him?

Yes for sure. Even if they don't move Johnson they could probably make it work. They do need a replacement for Johnson. i wonder how much Maclin is looking for. I don't think he's a $10,000,000 a year WR.

I believe he was closest to Maclin...just speculation at this point.

I think like McCoy - wr can be replaced in the draft.

But believe this you are not doing it with 3 round picks

Another reason Mariota is a wet dream of fools..

The draft is as big of a crap shoot as anything, maybe even the biggest crap shoot. They need to keep Jeremy Maclin. You can't just jettison your three biggest offensive weapons over a couple of years and just keep things going as usual.
