This is interesting. If Mariota is all that why try and sign Hoyer? Why wouldn't the Jets want golden boy Mariota -- and if the discussions have been Foles to Jets why are they talking to Hoyer?

There have been no indications the Jets want Mariota, but I do think Tenn does.
