it just seemed to me that a RB that could block, catch, and carry the ball and played in a similar system would have been a nice addition. Not a lot of "one cut" RB available.

First of all, if you were taking 2 steps back to take 1 step forward I question how well you were really playing those sports.

Secondly, assuming you meant you have to take 1 step back to take 2 steps forward - why are you bitching if you understand the need for this to occur?
