You know my main problem with Chip. I think he's a talented and forward thinking coach. My problem is that if Chip turns the Novacare Center into Hiroshima, he's on the plane back to Hawaii (or Texas, or Florida) while the rest of us deal with the fall-out.

I don't see how that differs from many other coaches. Andy Reid got another job. Rex Ryan got another job. Rich Kotite got another job. Ray Rhodes got another job. Ken Whisenhunt got another job.

Plenty of good and/or shitty coaches have bombed teams out and gotten another job, sometimes immediately.
