1.) Chip came after Bradford very hard.

2.) There were multiple other teams trying to land Bradford.

God I hope there is a part II to this. I'm hoping Bradford is the key to Mariota and Chip had to give up the extra picks so the Rams didn't trade him to Chip's trading partner.

@SheilKapadia By getting the Eagles to trade for Bradford first, they maximize value for 1st or 2nd overall pick. And Rams also get Foles.
