  • So, if Eagles were offered a number 1 pick for Bradford

by a team, say Cleveland at #19....that means they could take their two number ones and trade up to get Mariota if they really wanted him. Plausible?

Would you do it? #19, #20 and 2nd rounder get it done to trade up to #10?

    Interesting wrinkle.

This offseason has been head-spinning so-far....I think I'm in the Sam's Club.

I'm in Sam's club. If Kelly ended up trading him to get Mm, I wouldn't be shocked though. After this off-season, nothing would shock me

If Kelly is smart and if Cleveland really wants Bradford, Chip should be holding out to see if he can get pick #12 from the Brownies.

The one thing about Bradford and the Zone read

can he pull the ball back and get 10 yards without getting Waffled,,,MM would be a threat to the defense on every snap..I know Sam is a good passer, no doubt about that..but do you want the guy running 7 8 times a game?

Even IF this were to happen, are you happy with Sanchez under center while MM gets up to speed? Or are you going to throw MM to the wolves right off the bat with Sanchez as your backup?

Personally, I think Kelly is happy with Bradford, and in Sanchez, although I hate to admit it you do have one of the better BACKUPS in the league.

I do think (hope) that somewhere on draft day he has a pick left for a QB project and ships Barclay out of town.

I got the email from the Iggs this morning offering jersey sales for the new players, including Bradford. Although I would put nothing past the NFL, it would be pretty low to actively market that jersey to fans if they knew they intended to deal him in a month.

True, but isn't the opposite true as well. If they don't market their new "franchise" QB at all, doesn't it hurt their negotiations by showing they're definitely shopping him.

As is now the case, we have no clue what Chip is up to.

True, but would still be doughy - unless they intend to stall shipping until after the draft.

If they actually shipped jerseys then dealt him, I would think they would offer returns or free exchanges.

That's my view as well. Why else would they have three veteran RBs?!

Re Bradford vs MM. I'm not getting attached to anyone on this roster until after the draft!

I bet they feel okay with Bradford at QB, esp since their O coordinator had much success with Bradford as a rookie.

I bet Chip tried to get MM and knows MM will not likely be available, but with the way things have gone, I would not be too surprised to see MM in green. It has been insane.

It was Cleveland at 19, there is an article on yahoo sports. They offered it to the Rams first but the Rams wanted Foles and got more than they bargained for with Chip giving up draft picks as well.

Right Nerd, Chip said this week the NFL is a year to year deal. Needs to get as far as he can next year but will draft for the future. Hundley in round 2?
