Thanks for that. Before I was born. Makes me realize how long it has been.
Also makes me realize it is possible. Just like being nuked since the cold war started is possible.
First play for the Iggles was an intercepted pass. Typical.--------

Nine months old? I was still twenty four years off. Still waiting for that glorious day. If I have to walk from NC to Philly for the parade, fuck it. I'll be there."You on the other hand, describe your shit so many times and revel in how glorious or strange it looks that there is absolutely no doubt you most definitely DO have a shit fetish." - Kelly Green

It was such a great day; who knew I'd still be counting to see another?

I remember 1960
My first wife kicked heroin the same day I tried my first frozen pizza, which also led me to sending Mick Jagger the lyrics to Nineteenth Nervous Breakdown.John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

My uncle(RIP) was a season ticket holder for quite awhile in those days and he was at that game. The weird thing, he was always busting my chops about the Birds when I was growing up as if he was no longer a fan. I didn't know he had been a season ticket holder in his younger days until many years later.
I can't even imagine what this city will be like when they finally bring home the Lombardi...probably make the Flyers and '08 Phillies parades look small in comparison.
