  • Internet Only Game

I suppose this will force dozens of Jags and Bills fans to get Apple TV.

I thought this idea was awesome when it was rumored, so I'm glad it's happening.

      Why? I think it sucks

It will be the least watched game in the last 20 years.

Fuck Goodell and his "new look" NFL.

      It blows.

To the highest bidder. I assume the contract allows exceptions of this kind. But in this case, the game will probably have a top bid of $27.00, or slightly more than we (that's right, I said, "we") paid for Manhattan. Not adjusted for inflation.

Having said that, if they start doing this for playoff games or something, we'll end up with pay per view prices somewhere down the road. That's un-American.

I'm a little desensitized because I've had Directv's NFL package since I moved to Cincinnati in the 90's. So I can't say, "I never paid for it in my life."

Was that super early game nationally televised last year?

We were heading to the Arizona gayte last year, so we missed it.

If not, everyone can now have a full day of football.

I think it should stay over the air for in-market, but I'd love to be able to pay per game to stream.

Not sure what a good price point might be... $5/game?

I've never had great success in that area. I want something that looks like a broadcast streaming over my Roku or Apple TV.

I would rather pay the NFL for it directly via NFL Now than give it to a cable or satellite provider.
