Picked up [Shane] Vereen, and Andre Williams is down here training with me now so I’m sharing every secrete I can with him so I’m excited for this push this year.”

Jennings and Williams are working out together in Florida and they’ll welcome Vereen, a pass-catching specialist who signed with the Giants as a free agent after winning Super Bowl XLIX with the Patriots.

“It’s going to be big. Any time you can add depth at any position, any room, it’s valuable,” Jennings said. “He’s a guy that’s been on a team that knows the recipe of winning, he’ll be able to share that, he’ll be able to add depth and also he’s a great catcher out of the back field so that’s going to entice the coordinator to throw to the running backs more, so I’m happy with that. He’s a good player and from everything I understood he’s a good teammate so we’re glad to have him aboard.”

But we all know how this story ends...your defense did nothing to improve and Eli is another year older. Jennings will be hurt by week 8, williams will have 2 decent games then fade to oblivion, and Vereen is a wildcard. Not seeing how your team gets that much better with shane vereen and cruz.
