I flipped over to CNN to see if they were doing any coverage and "Snoop" from the wire is doing an interview about police violence. She IS that character in real life too, awesome.

I think I read somewhere that she was basically a career criminal and did time in prison before cleaning her act up and pursuing acting.

That show went to great lengths for authenticity, and it shows. My brother is NYPD and he says that's the only show ever made that comes close.

..also, I hope Lady Liberty is okay.
