The only person who could really lose a lot is Jeffrey Lurie.
But on the other hand, the most Lurie has to lose is limited
He would gain a lot if this works out.
That's the problem. No one has anything to lose. Except the long suffering fans who have to watch this "experiment" blow up in the lab. Lurie has a franchise that increases in value win or lose. Chip can fail..like Saban and Spurrier.. Return to College like it never happened.
DJax..Macklin. WRs.......McCoy...Sproles. RBs. Foles..QB. A very respectable front 7 on D. All we needed to do is patch up the DB and make a run for it this year. Instead, we are wondering who the QB WILL be, who the DBs will be, who the WRs will be. Because now, instead talking about this being a year where we take a shot at the ring, we are talking about experiments and grand plans. We are putting our faith in this so-called genius who has never won a thing in the NFL but the owner hands him the key to the vault. The grand illusion.
The Saban Spurrier comments don't really work do they? Chip has more wins and he's already going into year three, something cc was wrong about as well. Keep throwing darts, one has to stick.
