would it really be any worse than the Eagles' 2011 draft? Not much.

I guess they got Kelce in the 6th round but that was it.

Who think that Kendricks, Boykin, and Curry are the ticket to the Super Bowl.

I've been thinking that a lot. How many draft picks has this franchise straight up thrown away? You can also get pretty much any position through free agency, except for a franchise QB. Although draft is obviously much preferred.

I would have traded that entire 2011 draft for any one of those first 6 picks.

If the Eagles trade their draft for one player after publicly stating how they want to build through the draft I think they damage control/explanation afterwards is going to sound like an addict making the case for just ONE MORE HIT. I promise, after this last hit I'm done.

The obvious answer is the previous public statement was a smokescreen.

If this is what they'd give up than I'm all in.

Maybe not worse, but every bit as bad. That draft set the team back for years. They're still recovering from it. I would argue even if Mariota IS a hit, trading away the equivalent of a whole draft wouldn't be worth it. Brady and Manning played forever, but most don't. You're throwing away multiple years of your qb's career while you start over almost like an expansion team.

The goal should be to AVOID drafts that get you only one good player, not to have a draft that does that intentionally.
