  • Part of me acutualy thinks Kelly thinks he could make this work with Sanchez

Otherwise, why re-sign Sanchez after last season?

Hey there is no guarantee Bradford will be able to start in the preseason, or even in game one.

Kelly sh*tcanned Foles and kept Sanchez. To me, that says something. He definitely wants his own players. Guys from the Reid (FF) regime who are not exceptional or don't have a Eagles friendly contract have been dropping like flies this off season.

For me, the only thing which could have made this off season more entertaining would have been if that douche from Oregon was still posting on here. I loved the people hating on his spam.

Did you hear the Jay Glazer report that besides picks, Chip offered any QB on his roster to Tenn?
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

Sanchez is a camp arm pretending to be more.

I believe the NFL is all about the big plays... The turnovers, sacks, etc.

        That's what drives McMahon, IMO.

The Big plays create the drama.

Sanchez is perfect for this. He will do ok for a while and then throw up a pick at the worst possible time.

Let's try to remember one thing--Sanchez wasn't the reason they went 1-3 in December. A poor secondary that couldn't cover shit was the reason they didn't make the dance. Except for a poor game against Seattle--and once again the secondary made Seattle's receivers look like speedsters, they scored enough points to win both the Dallas and Washington games.

Sanchez back fired on Chip, Titans were talking to Sanchez before Chip re-signed him, they wanted him to come in and compete and teach Metenberger. I think Chip signed him to trade him and it blew up in his face.

How about you try to remember that Sanchez shit the bed late in key moments to add a pungent collective odor to the the defensive turds.

Agreed. I have not forgotten the bed-shitting of Sanchez.

He gave Sanchez $5.5 million guaranteed. The Eagles would have had to eat that if Sanchez was traded.

If anything, I think Kelly signed Sanchez to such a deal to mentor Mariota in the event he got him.

Whatever the reason, that contract says something about what Kelly thinks of Sanchez.

How bout this. Chip has no master plan. Other than MM, he really doesn't care who is on the roster. He had a goal of getting rid of the good players that FF BROUGHT IN. Other than that, he believes that his scheme is more important than the players who are supposed to execute it. No coach has Tebow,Bradley and Sanchez on the roster at the same with the supposed starter still doing reviews of hospital food....if he really gave a shit about the roster......except for MM...OF COURSE

Bradley Cooper. Chip brought him for a look see. Something about Silver Linings Playbook and being a good fit.

If Bradford gets injured, and Sanchez shits the bed, Kelly can say "look everybody, I tried to move up and take MM, didn't work."

Interesting take. Kelly does always try to have a "way out" of any situation. He's evasive and sort of aggressive while being evasive.
