Maybe Kendricks goes today for a 4th.

I look back on last year and the clusterfuck at ILB once Kendricks and Ryans weren't in there and think Kelly and Davis are just trying to load up at LB in general.

They apparently really like Barbre, so maybe he's due to replace Herremans.

I thought they were going to take Clemmings, but several theoretically "worse" prospects have already been taken ahead of him. There was some talk about a shoulder injury, so maybe there's a reason he's slipped.

I was surprised they went ILB, but I really like their first two picks, so if Kelly thinks he can burn a third-rounder on someone with good upside, I'm not too upset about it.

I'd be pretty shocked if they don't take their best available OL in the 4th, though.

Unless, as you and IronEagle suggest, they like some of the backups they currently have at OL.

I doubt that anyone they'll get at this point will help them this year. With the fragile QB and stable of quality RBs I thought Chip would trade down a little in Rd 1 and pick OG/OT Fisher to step in this year.

I'm thinking Adrian Amos in the 4th or if he doesn't get there then OL. Really dislike the Hicks pick in the 3rd. We need starters at S and OG more than we need our 8th ILB
