Maybe Chip's approach is different than Reid/Roseman. They stockpiled picks but what percentage of them were busts.

Is Chip investing more in visits to Pro Days and other means to better know the candidates. Maybe he is counting on improved scouting to compensate for fewer picks in the mid and later rounds.

Chip has done an excellent job so far in the draft. Both a brilliant coach with an innovative plan and tons of common sense.
