  • Ray Rhodes was 20-12 after two seasons.

    Won a playoff game.

I think his QB was Rodney Peete.

I remember him being sick. Hope he's okay. He was wrapped a little bit tight.

      So what's your point?

I certainly don't see one, except you want to prove to everyone you know better than the great Chip Kelly.

        Kotite was 21- 11

        Rhodes inherited a 7- 9 team. Chip inherited a 4 - 12 team. Your "point" is pointless

Bill Belichick was 6-10 and 7-9 his first 2 seasons. His QB was Bernie Kosar.

Please -- It's Bad Enough That It's Monday

The weekend's over -- including a very pleasant Saturday for my birthday -- and it's back to the daily grind.

Don't make Monday worse by mentioning the man who coached the ONLY season that started with me knowing there wasn't an icecube's chance in Hades that the Eagles would win the championship. I was young and diehard during Joe Kuharich's tenure and even THEN I felt the Birds would win it all.

1998 -- that awful, dismal year.

Bill Walsh was 8 - 24. He had Joe Montana. No playoff wins.

People throw 20-12 around like it proves something. It doesn't.

Joe Kuharich was 23-7 after 3 seasons

The only thing that proves anything is this...

So if Chip went 12-20 the first 2 seasons

That doesn't mean anything either, right? Glad you cleared this up

Andy Reid inherited a 3-13 team and was in the NFL championship game his 3rd season. Let's see Harry do that.

Point stands. Kelly's record so far doesn't mean much of anything.

Super Bowl champions in year 3. Is that your prediction for the Eagles?

                            Fair enough

Good to know that if Chip's record the first 2 years was much worse you would have been defending him noting that the first two years mean nothing.

Reid wasn't in the "NFL Championship" in his 3rd season. It wasn't until his 6th season they reached the NFL championship game.

I was a big Reid fan when he was in Philly even the last 2 dreadful years. But he, like Kelly was left a lot of players from which to build around. Difference was he was left a lot of good players on the defensive side.
