Cooper did what Chip wanted as a blocker and had a relatively big year filling in for Maclin in 2013. The real issue is his contract. If he wasn't given such a big contract (I don't know if Kelly or Roseman is to blame) he'd either be cut for not playing well or he'd be still be on the team for doing what Chip wants but at a salary that most people wouldn't care about.Originally posted by tjl88 View Post--

I know the contract is the issue for not cutting him. I just think that should fall on Howie not Chip. Howie wanted him drafted, and was probably responsible for the contract too.
