  • Fuck Shady McCoy and anyone that gives him an ounce of credibility

Enough of this manufactured horseshit about Chip and racism!

One fucking malcontent who was shipped off to the hell that is Buffalo spouts his ignorant views and it automatically becomes a topic for discussion as if there were any truth to it.

Being laid up as I am, I'm seeing way more TV than ever. Last night I saw Kevin Blackistone (now there's a real sports source) actually lending some credence to Shady's preposterous dribble and then Michael "Shit for Brains" Wilbon on PTI echoing the same crap. This added to sports #1 racist, Stephen Smith. If it were up to me they'd all be off the tube. There's sure as hell enough racism in the world without having to add something that's non existent.

Shady is an ignorant asshole. The media guys, all black, are pandering pieces of shit. It should be a crime to smear ones name the way these guys are attacking Chip. This whole affair saddens me no end.

Hey Maniac, you really think your comment "the Eagles are the whitest team in the NFL" is somehow cute and meaningful? Well it's only patently absurd and meaningless, like most of the garbage you post these days.

I'm glad that so far Chip has been man enough to not address this ugly attack. His record speaks volumes, he doesn't need to point it out.

    Yeah, what he said

Maybe Shady was too dumb to realize the wide body he ran behind off left tackle all the time was black.

OB, hope you're recovery is going well.

Whatever you do, don't watch Stephen A. on anything today. Your head will explode. These guys are just trying to gin up the Ponzi Scheme of Outrage out of ignorant statements by Shady.

This upsets me. It is so intellectually dishonest and it's appalling that any "journalist" with the ability to reach a large audience - especially an African American journalist - would give credence to this. Look what is going on in this country right now with regard to race relations. And they want to talk about this?! If this is what passes for an accusation of racism these days, then pardon me if I become skeptical of every accusation of racism.

I read this the last time these bs accusations were made:
After all these years, Dr. Carlos is still radioactive in the eyes of the risk-averse caretakers of college football and basketball. It makes sense, given their dependence not only on unpaid black labor but on the passive compliance of that labor. If your star players choose to raise their fist instead of play in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl or take the floor for March Madness, the entire multibillion-dollar economic setup of college athletics would implode. There may not be laborers more exploited or in possession of more labor-power, than the disproportionately black revenue-producing college athletes and that makes the entire setup a racial and economic tinderbox.

We realized that it would take actual courage for a big-time NCAA football or basketball coach to ask John Carlos to address their locker room. Of all the places we visited together, only one asked him to speak to their team and that was Chip Kelly at Oregon. I called Dr. Carlos last night to see what he remembered about the experience, and he recalled how Kelly introduced him to the Ducks as a person of principle and resolve and said that any successful team needs to share those kinds of principles if they want to rise above being ordinary. He remembered that Kelly was passionate in having his players know the history of 1968, and the sacrifices made by Dr. Carlos and his generation of black athletes.
I have seen Eagles coach Chip Kelly be brave on questions of race. But that doesn’t mean we should be afraid to talk about racism and the Eagles.

Maybe John Carlos needs to speak to Smith, Wilbon and Blackistone about what real racism looks like.

Sorry about someone not fawning over your lord and savior Chip. You should make another post whining about it.

Chip Kelly, blessed be his name, screwed up and now you can't accept it. You need a hobby instead of just watching TV and picturing yourself on a beach with Kelly making memories.

There are people on this board, who claim to be Eagles fans, who are actively rooting for Chip Kelly to fail so that they can have some kind of self-congratulatory ITYS wankfest.

The thought process of these people is something I will never understand and is honestly something I never want to understand.

I'll admit they're cute but do you think your Chip Love rants are meaningful?

The Eagles were the whitest team in the league by a wide margin last season. I don't know what - if anything - that means, but it's a fact.

I don't believe Kelly is basing personnel decisions on skin color, but he has said that culture is a factor. It is certainly possible that white players are more likely to fit his cultural parameters.

Chip was at the infamous Kenny Chesney concert. What does that say about his culture?

I agree with OB 100%. Chip is NOT a racist and I think it's time for Lurie to step up and address this nonsense and defend his coach. Chip may not end up being the answer as a Head Coach or Talent Evaluator but people have to separate these issues with Chip if they do not like his coaching.

I don't understand why the only commonality that these guys(Stephen A, Blackistone, etc.) can find between DeSean and Shady is their skin color. They both have some diva in them and something of a me-first attitude. That is why they don't fit into Chip's culture. Both openly talked about how money was at the top of their priority list and both thought their stardom was bigger than the team.
