Chip Kelly is not a racist. He is a person who needs "full buy-in" from his players. If someone is going to question his plans, play calling, roster moves, they will not be part of the Eagles future as long as Chip is the HC. . Most of the stars are black. It is the stars who have reached the financial independence to speak their minds. So, it will be those black all-pros who will be cut or traded.
Kelly needs everyone nodding their heads in unison. Black, brown or white. Cooper remains on the team...not because he is white, but because if Kelly said "lick my Balls", Cooper would look for his knee pads.
The problem, as we are about to learn, is it is an impossible road to success when you are the coach of pro athletes. A good coach (leader) needs to get the skeptics to buy in to the plan. Every coach has them. You can't continue to get rid of them. You need to convince them. If not D. Murrary will be a one year Eagle because there will be times when he will question the decisions during a game.
Keeping Cooper on this team was a mistake. You may forgive but you won't forget. Black players had to look at this guys white ass everyday and the watch much more talented black players be sent packing. Part of the problem that caused these players making racist comments stems back to keeping Cooper.
