The man did what he loved right up to the end...Wow what a great life...God bless! the King of the Blues is gone....I remember walking into the Trenton War memorial in 1980 as a snot nosed kid...got my lesson in what the blues was all about...what a sound that guy could get from his guitar...Master of his domain forever....The King is dead! Sad to say
I only got to see him once.... sort of. House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, around 2004-2005. Place was so packed that it was near impossible to find a spot where you could see him sitting in his chair on stage.
