I know they're just prospects, but these two guys along with Franco give me a sliver of hope for the future. -
Nola is very legit. He's doesn't have flashy stuff, but he's efficient as hell and fun to watch. A Maddux type pitcher.
Crawford struggled last night, but that could maybe be chalked up to a hectic travel day and nerves. Showed flashes in the field and on the basepaths though.Comment

Nola has the looks of a real inning eater type guy who probably is a 2-3 type starter in all but the best rotations.
His only real concerns are hypothetical - like how he really hasn't pitched that many innings in his career. I think what he lacks in physical talent he makes up for with brains.Comment
