    Shot 85 with a quadruple bogey on 18.

    It's flabbergasting what's going on with him.

    He's duffing chip shots again like some dude on a muni course in cut off blue jeans, with a plastic shopping bag full of ice and beer in the golf cart.

    Fuck him. That asshole is so yesterday.

    I like how the local sports guys will tell you how Tiger did and totally ignore the person who happens to be leading. Like that prick is put there by himself.

      I never liked what I saw of his personality but his prior dominance was undeniable.

              He is done, he will never win again and I could not be happier. I hate the announcers, sports analyst Tiger is 12 behind and they talk about him. Fuck him, I watch golf to see the up and comers, long shots and Phil Mickelson. Oh yeah and Tiger failing.

                The report that he was visited by a doctor from Canada 14 times, who got prosecuted for some drug labeling shit, was pretty damning evidence IMO.

                But he was probably using them to recover from injury.

                That's not the case any more ... his issue is now the position of his head.

                It's too far up his ass.

                  No doubt he's messed up mentally but there's little doubt in my mind that he was using PED's for more than healing. He got super ripped out of nowhere - you kniw, when he was doing his "Seal training." PED's help with more than just strength. Now his body is messed up and he no longer has the same machine-like control over his body. In golf, I would think, that would royally mess you up in the head.

                    Not totally sure about that ... but you are likely right, mostly because it appears that he's too fucking arrogant to swallow his pride and completely succumb to a swing coach who won't take any shit.

                    I tend to agree with Brandel Chamblee who thinks he needs a guy who will get him back to playing more by feel than mechanics.

                    Or as someone else put it: he needs to stop playing "swing" and start playing "golf."

                      Steroids don't impact "machine like control" do they?

                      But I agree that whatever they were being used for physical can definitely effect mental.

                      In other words, since I'm on a cliche jag: the longest distance in golf is the 6 inches between your ears, and that gets fucked up whether its the wife, 'roids, over-tinkering with his swing, or whatever.

                        My understanding is that they can have a big impact on coordination etc. That's another reason it was popular in baseball. Would also come in handy in golf. Not saying he wasn't an incredible golfer but I think he always sought bigger and better. Now he's toast.

                          I don't think putting on size helps you in Golf. I never understood why he decided to put on pounds of muscle. He should have stayed skinny and flexible. Muscle tends to keep you from being flexible and fluid. When he weighed a 145 lbs, he was dominating the field.


                          I always said this: His father's death, his marriage, and his relationship with MJ and Barkley fucked him up. He was a lifetime nerd, he wasn't ready for the gambling and the bitches.
                          500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

                              I suck at golf now due to shoulder surgeries, but at one point I could hold my own. I played to win, but I couldn't win the traditional way. My driver sucked, so I would always tee off with a 2 iron no matter the distance.


                              I always hated to see Tiger pull out his driver. Fuck that 330 yard drive (which a lot of times landed in the woods), hit that stinger 280 and stay in the fairway. But he wants to win like Jack did, the traditional way. He needs to swallow that pride, lose weight to help with his back and knee, and start with the basics.
