I'd be interested to hear what the race baiters have to say about the Mathis release!

Chip released a Pro Bowl player...if he was black would we have to hear from Shady?

Shady was half right. Chip doesn't look for Black players to get rid of. He gets rid of anyone who may question things.....who may not totally buy in to the scheme. There is no room for questions and your own opinions in Chip ball. Since the majority of all pros that Chip dumped are black, we get opinions like McCoys.

The reason Chip Kelly will ultimately fail is that he doesn't understand the difference between coaching a bunch of kids who just left high school to play college ball and coaching a group of millionaires who have their own opinions that need to ....at least.... Listened to. Players, in many cases, who have already achieved success in the NFL.

What will happen to Demarco Murrary when he walks off the field for the first time shaking his head and goes over to Chip and asks about the play calling? You know it's going to happen.

This may all be true (hopefully not) but put the race garbage to bed already!

Agreed. Chip holding on to Riley Cooper while dumping much better black players probably didn't sit well. And it resulted in over reactions.

It's not opinions that he doesn't want, or even feedback. He gave Cary Williams the benefit of the doubt last year when he was crying about tough practices(Cary is still crying about it). Seems pretty clear that Chip just doesn't like guys that put their egos, contracts, and personal, me first BS before the team. Some coaches HAVE to put up with it because they can't win without the talents that some of these guys possess. I assume Chip thinks the team is better without them...addition by subtraction.

A successful coach in professional sports deals with the egos, contracts, opinions, disagreements, occasional felonies, general bitching and moaning and creates a winner out of it all. When there is too much subtraction ( of all pro players) no addition will make up for it.
