    here's the getaway vehicle

The van had a Georgia liicense plate, and online records indicate that a company in Newman, Ga., sold a similar vehicle on eBay for $8,250. The company that sold it, Jenco Sales Inc., described the vehicle on Facebook: "Zombie Apocalypse Assault Vehicle and Troop Transport. This full armored zombie busting vehicle features convenient gun ports so no zombie juice touches you during a mass zombie take down. It also has benches in the back so you can take turns resting during long Zombie sieges. The tactical step boards are installed for when you only need swords and axes for drive by mow downs. The bumpers are made of reinforced steel tubing, so no dents from smashing zombie heads! It's full armor plated and has bullet proof windows just in case you run into other zombie hunting hordes who might try to take this bad boy from you. Like anything, there is a price attached to this fine piece of zombie fighting machinery."

not sure what's more concerning: that they used this marketing strategy or that someone actually dropped 8 grand on it.

No indication on whether there was a blue star on the back door but I'm thinking they may have added the decal after market.

Those loggers sure get a nice pension after 20 years.

You advocate for policies which make the cops less safe, while at the same time defending them (and implicitly demanding higher pay and benefits) because their job is "so dangerous".

How ironic. Are you a hipster?

          Interesting perspective

          Good point by IE.

For the interesting perspective: Over here in China the press (state run) is absolutely flogging this story like it was FOX News and Hillary took a shit on the Capitol stairs. Every day this story is on the CCTV news and on the front page. According to the English China Daily (also state run sort of) this is an example of the decadence and downfall of the US. Rampant violence with handguns is a symptom of a screwed up society. Their words not mine.

POLITICAL DISCLAIMER: This post is not intended, nor should it be construed, as an endorsement of the PRC or a criticism of the US. It is intended solely for the use of the audience for a perspective that is otherwise absent from our beloved gunnutz threads. So don't call me a Commie, a socialist, a bleeding heart, a constitution burner, unless you have: (a) actual proof in the form of documentation (or in the case of the constitution burning thing, at least some ashes); or (b) can actually define "communism" and "socialism" without resort to irrational name-calling. Having said that, however, Dimmy will admit to really liking all these Chinese girls and their friendly (really to some extent hyper-friendly) attitudes, they can't get enough of all things American, Dimmy just wishes that this attitude extended to him and his hooter.

Really? What policies would those be?

I've stated probably 100 times that I support gun laws like NJ has. How does that make cops less safe?

And "assault rifles" are so rarely used in crimes it's a total red herring (btw NJ limits magazine capacity to 15).

Implicitly demanding higher pay and benefits? Where's that bull come from??

Please show me how many times loggers get shot at.

If I was against gun control laws he'd have a bit of a point but sadly he's el-wrongo again

You advocate everybody carrying an assault riflie... even in airports, while simultaneously maintaining that copa are under assault.

Seems like a self fulfilling prophecy designed to put more money in cop and cop union retirement pocket. The firearms manufacturers make out big time as well.

Alll paid for by our tax dollars.

Hey, I thought you said taxes were bad! Guess that is not the case when the taxes are going to pay something you support like our overpaid unionized police.

                  Is this la ref?

Or are you and him the same person? I'm starting to wonder.

I never advocated anyone carrying firearms, nor have I said taxes are "bad". Any more non sense you want to make up?

Now start looking for stats about all those poor loggers getting shot at by criminals and lunatics!
