The guy posted a perfectly clear headed racist manifesto online. He posed constantly with the stars and bars and other white supremacist symbols. He told the victims exactly why he was doing what he did while he was doing it. He was a racist terrorist, not a crazy person. I'm a gun control supporter, but this case isn't about gun control. The guy didn't have a record that would have prevented him from getting a gun even if we expanded gun control in reasonable ways. It's not about mental illness. It's about the white supremacist domestic terrorist movement in this country and the propaganda they broadcast out to young people.

And yeah, it's about a state that flies that same white supremacist stars and bars proudly on their state house.
