next year, I definitely agree with you. The year after that, unless the lakers or Knicks pull off some miracle trades or free agent signings...I'd bet the Sixers have a better record and are on the way up. Won't be shocked if they are a bottom playoff team. I think the only possible flaw in Hinkies plan is if he ends up without enough money to pay the talent he will acquire. I think he's smart enough to identify who to keep and trade for assets.
The plan is painful, but better than watching Iggie and a gang of slop get overpaid to go out in the first round year after year after year. Glad he got to get a title and is in the right role now. He was never a bad player, just clearly should have never been expected to be the guy.
