Wasn't this guy the darling of the organization when he was in the minor leagues? How is it that all of a sudden he turned into this POS that has terrible communication skills?

Terrible communication skills - did he make players wear white socks?

2 Gap, when I worked in Chicago as a sports reporter in 1996 and '97 Sandberg, Brian McRae and Steve Trachsel were the biggest assholes in that locker room. I am not at all shocked at how this panned out, and the fact that the Cubs system through multiple GMs refused to hire their 2B icon out of the minors for the parent club should have said a lot.

        Minor leaguers

Have to listen to you, they know nothing else. Major leaguers can sniff out a fraud. This run the Phils are does not mean they are great but sure proves they were not as bad as the first half showed.

Steve Trachsel might have been the least fun-to-watch pitcher in the history of the sport.

amen. I was laughing my ass off watching his 88 mph 'fastball' scream out of Busch Stadium at 120 off McGwire's bat, 'roids and all, for #62. Not dignifying the event given the circumstances, but the fact it came off Trachsel was beautiful.
