So who made it all the way through True Detective S2? (possible spoilers)

Agreed. I really got lost with all of the name dropping. Too many players and too many vague references to people I didn't know. The action bits were pretty good, though.

I liked it, not as much as last season. Too many subplots that didn't seem to have a whole lot to do with the overall storyline.

Ani having Ray's baby at the end really pissed me off for some reason, it just seemed so contrived.

There were a lot of plot holes and instances where you had to suspend all logic for something to work out, but the action picking up in the past two episodes helped it end way better than it started.

Definitely not as good as season 1, but not the worst thing I've ever seen either.

While I enjoy exploring out of the box in shows, there is a reason that most shows end with the good guys winning...not the case here.

Yeah. The writer needs to get back to some simpler shit. I'm still not exactly sure who was behind what and who was one whose side as far as the bad guys go. Definitely lost track of the girl/hooker/witnesses.

Thought Valcoro was gonna make it though. Would have dug the ending more if at least one of the dudes survived.

Avopided reading this thread. I was the same way, thought they should have let Ray live, especially with the baby. At least it seemed Ani was planning some revenge
