Reading the coverage in the NY Post today, you're right, Smith comes across as a chump.

It doesn't justify a sucker punch or broken jaw, but if Smith really stiffed the dude $600 that's pretty chump-esque to begin with. Why is a backup linebacker spotting the starting QB money to begin with? Smith probably has that much in his locker.
