What a breath of fresh air. I just wish there were more people who were like him. Soccer moms have destroyed society with their, "Everyone gets a trophy mentality".

Depends on the age group .... little league and up, I agree with this notion, as things get more competitive.
But when kids are in those early stages, it's about teaching them and keeping them engaged. Most times, scores aren't even kept, so you're not really competing for anything anyway. It's about keeping the game fun, and if that involves a bullshit trophy, then I am fine with it.
