Gotta do something with the leftovers
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

Sounds good but what is up with soup during the hottest part of the summer?

          same as

Smitty's steaming hot clams and seafood casseroles. No air conditioning there, either. I guess that's what beer is for.

I told a Spaniard friend that I cooked a cocido a couple of weeks ago and he told me I was nuts. Reflecting back on it I think he has a point.

              all I know is...

...people wait routinely 90 minutes to get a table there. Tonight there was a nice breeze off the bay. For me, life doesn't get much better!

If you enjoy the food and the place that's really all that matters. Still I bet you would enjoy some of that soup even more in the middle of winter minus your much hated shoobiea.

Damn, that sounds delicious. I have a long weekend coming up(my wife's B-Day is Friday) and I may make the trip over there. When I'm in the mood for seafood I usually make the trip to Leeds Point to enjoy the food and atmosphere of the Oyster Creek Inn.

that is why I buy and freeze large quantities of their signature white, red and "pink" (mixed) chowders. The soups on special are rare and and limited quantities. they wont even sell it for takeout. Never saw this one before. When I saw this on the whiteboard I told A "that sounds too good to be legal" and I was right.
