Uh oh...Simmons is an asshole

I covered the Sixers a long long time ago. Most of my contacts from that era are either no longer involved or dead. But I still know a couple of people, one of whom I ran into yesterday.

Apparently Ben Simmons is enough of a douche this is the main reason there is any debate at all about their selection with the top choice.

Paraphrasing: "There is no doubt he is the better player. They have to determine if he is a harmless asshole or a cancer in the clubhouse asshole."

I just want to see a good Finals

Dont hate Golden State like my seatmate. Dont hate LeBron. Dont hate Kevin Love. Like both coaches and have nothing against either fanbase.

Might be nice to see Bron Bron win it for the town he once spurned and for fans who haven't won anything in any sport in forever.

But I'm OK with either squad.

Hugely underrated player, although he did make the list of the NBA's 50 greatest at its 50th anniversary. Tremendous shooter and HOFer.
