The team has less holes than last year,,but still there are Holes..Chip has made some some real head scratching decisions, and All we can do is wait to see if the guys vision is correct..I really thought this team would contend in Kelly's 3rd year, but after watching Kelly jettison probowler after probowler...Who knows maybe we do maybe we don't...

As an Eagles fan we need to be great not good,,so Im on board with Lurie....do what it takes to be great! In the End we all want a trophy not a 1st round bounce..no reason for anyone to jump down anyones throat for being pos or being sceptical in Aug..over 40 years an Eagles fan I can see some guys sayin yea they look good,,talk to me in Dec!

Count me as cautiously optimistic. Being a true Philadelphia fan, there is always that lingering fear that the other shoe is about to drop. Some people are so guarded about it that they flip and become full time pessimists. I don't blame them...but I'll stop watching altogether if that's where I'm headed.

This point is for KG: Sometimes when the crew of the Enterprise would be in a particularly troubling position, Spock would say, "Fascinating." And one of the crew members would often snap at him. Spock was able to see situations as new and interesting, without suffering the baggage of emotional attachment. It's certainly not a human thing to do, but it seems to be a valid and perhaps desireable approach. /spockout

Yeah, cautiously optimistic sounds about right. I've gone through the overly pessimistic stage of my life in Philly sports, but I believe I've moved past it. It's not worth it. I will still scream and act like a child when they do lose though, I haven't been able to move past that stage yet.

Once bitten twice shy! Chips offense is immensely fun to watch. Im convinced its a plug and play offense as long as the Oline stays healthy..

Watching other teams play is just boring to me and the wife now..Watching Cleveland and Buff play to a 3-3 tie at the end of the Half..My wife turns to me and says the Eagles would be up 30-3 right now, why are we watching this?..I just laughed..
