  • Foreskin Follies (c) Tuesday Edition: Blame the Intern

Bob is a mess. Just can't help himself.

Also, this old article was linked in the Grantland piece someone posted yesterday, wherein Shanahan says that Bob came to his office after his rookie year and demanded that certain plays no longer be run (hilarious). Shanahan says that the offense he ran for Bob was designed to make him as successful as possible (which he was) and that he told Bob and the Telemarketer that he wasn't ready to be a pocket passer (which also appears to be true).

Of course he's going to blame the intern, it IS Washington D.C. after all.

Do NFL players really have interns?

In the photo industry, occasionally someone will get caught using other people's work in their portfolio. The standard response is - guess what - the intern put it there. Shit definitely rolls downhill.

Regardless, if he did it, he's an idiot. If his intern had enough latitude to do it, he's an idiot.

Exactly. He seems to be one of those guys that can't avoid controversy. Maybe not every instance is his fault. Maybe an intern did do it. At the end of the day though, you can only blame so many things on other people. The one constant is Bob.
