    Hopefully Fox will do the same in the future.It is not clear from this article how it will be decided or announced which games CBS will show.

    This is how the league moves to Pay per View for most games. Sunday night football may end up being the only free over the air broadcast left.

        This is not a bad thing. It's about time the NFL gives out of towners a chance to watch their hometown team for a few bucks.

          But if you take it to the extreme (not that anybody here would do that), you can see the NFL requiring ALL games to be available ONLY by the PPV model.

            That would make no sense when the Networks are writing checks for Billions over the next few years and the NFL is charging $5,000,000 for a 30 second ad on the Super Bowl.

                But the NFL could generate Ad revenue w/o the networks. Whether ppv income outweighs Network contracts is another matter.
