According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Eagles get a seventh-round pick from the Cardinals if Barkley is on the Cardinals roster for six games.

If he got a 7th for Barclay, and Tebow looked better and is at the airport, maybe he got takers for both?

Tebow might just be off for a trip, but I would still go w two and use Burton as the 3rd QB if needed.

Barkley was in Chips system for 2+ yrs. and showed no improvement, I like the idea of keepin the xtra rb. or Tebow.

Didn't the cruds already have 3 QBs? Who do they have that is worse than Barclay.

Edit, just looked it up Carson, Stanton, Sims. they have released two other Qbs.

Arians is going to show Kelly how a real NFL offense can utilize Barkley.

I give Kelly credit for getting the possibility of anything for a player he was going to cut. And nice move by the Cards getting a free audition.

But he still takes a ding for drafting him.

                        How's that?

He took a top 10 pick from the prior year in the fourth round.

Every gamble that doesn't pay off isn't a bad play when it's made.

Agree on taking gambles. But he did miss on a player he was fairly familiar with. Results matter.

He still leads the Pac 10 in career passing yardage and some other stats.

Obviously that didn't mean he would be great but that's not chopped liver either.

At the time he was drafted he had not played as well as when he would have gone top 10 so he dropped ... scuttlebutt was that it was due to a shoulder injury ... taking a shot at him there wasn't something I disapproved at the time, so I'm not going to second-guess penalize him now.

Bigger question to me is how many picks from this year's draft are gonna stick.
