      too simplistic to blame Franklin

Penn State dominated most of the first half. Temple dominated after that, and at a higher level of domination.

The Owls D got stronger as the game went on. To blame Franklin is to take credit away from the Owls.

True. Temple took care of a team they were simply better than. I agree.

Wasn't Penn St supposed to compete in the Big 10? I'm being serious.

Any team that has multiple first round prospects should be competing in their conference.

                Franklin can always be blamed.

The B1G this year is Ohio State and some other guys.

I don't think #5 MSU is even that serious of a threat but PSU never was.

Well at least to people outside Happy Valley.

Temple's defense manhandled the Penn State offensive line, but PSU's coach did nothing to adjust his passing game to take advantage of their aggressiveness.

Still a nice win for Temple though. Hopefully Maryland can do the same but I'm not too optimistic just yet.

                          No it isn't

Temple should never beat Penn State. They don't get the same level of recruits. They don't have nearly the same financial backing. There are a boatload of reasons that yesterday was the first time in seventy-some odd years.
Then again, Penn State has been a second level program for more than a few years.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

That's called making adjustments. It's part of coaching.
