I don't get this thing about shutting guys down. Kelly Green nailed this. If you are going to shut guys down why not shut them down in the first part of the season when the games don't count? It should be easy to project the number of innings or pitches.

And since the games don't count, why use your best pitchers when the games don't count?!?
