Boykin does not even win job as 3rd corner for Steelers. Increasing evidence that Chip is a really good talent evaluator. Watch out NFL.

2 GM's just went into Hall of Fame, & they have a huge list of misses. So far in my opinion Chip has a very gd batting ave & that's the test

Maybe he's not worth it. At the end of the day, I think the majority of Chip's decisions are going to look good. DJacc is still the one, from a football standpoint, that looks like it hurt us, but he obviously didn't fit Chip's mold. Hopefully some of the young WR's develop and replace his deep threat and production.

I think McCoy, given his running style and the o-line in Buffalo, is going to have a harder time. I like how Murray runs. Hopefully he stays healthy. Overall, I think things are shaping up fine. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

...I think Buffalo is saying the same thing about McCoy, only problem is they don't have as much talent in the backup spots.

Chip nailed it IMO for the RB spot.

What are the stipulations for receiving a 4th vs a 5th?

            I thought it's a 5th if he doesn't play 60% of the snaps. A 4th if he does.

Hmmm, those aren't terrible odds. He could still get 60% without starting. So many teams are running 4 receiver sets...

I would certainly swap Murray and Matthews for McCoy. I think they are the number 1 and 2 backs in the last 5 years out of the shotgun. Just like Bradford had his best year operating out of the gun. Basically, Chip got players tailored to his system. That's what a coach should do. I have no doubt that if we have luck on the injury front, this offense is going to be hard to stop.
