I'm a solid proponent of the Japanese luthiers,,they made tons of Great instruments,,,My 1st bass was an Ibanez Blazer Bass, Ill never forget it,,I figured you might have a mid 70's SG, or since your a Jersey guy like me maybe a Kramer with a nice Aluminum neck or a BC Rich Bitch!

For me I would have to pull out my 78 Custom 25th 50th Anniversary Guitar,,Norlin Ax but my God,,,best playing Guitar I have ever Owned. Its got Fralin Unbuckers in it,,and was originally Signed by Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath,,,Guitar was destroyed when I got,,Complete refin in Brockburst,,aging Nicely Now. Best Neck Ever!
