First, FF teams were usually prepared to be stoked to come out for the opener. FF wasn't that great thinking on his feet but given enough time he could frequently find a plan to succeed early in a game.
Second, Kelly did seem to make some adjustments at the half to try to counter the Falcons. Reid (FF) NEVER did that.
But having made those points, I think Macnow is right. This version of the Eagles yesterday looked like a Reid (FF) team.--------

But on the other hand it does look like an FF team in that you have people defending the failures of the coach at all costs.
I've seen this act before. Where it is impermissible to criticize any wart on the team or any decision made by the coach.
Sigh.--------

one thing that i didn't think was very FF-esque, but was mentioned as being so in the article, was that we passed the ball way more than we ran it. yeah, it's great to establish the run, but i don't think anyone who watched the game and saw how the OL was playing would have thought that we should have run more. especially with the way that bradford was playing in the second half, i liked letting him throw. we converted 4th and short with a pass earlier in the game, and i wouldn't have minded a similar call on the ill-fated 4th and 1.
now, the terrible running game was mostly due to our guards being revolving doors throughout the game, so maybe entering week 1 with a glaring roster hole is FF-esque.
