"Police said they don't think the device was dangerous, but don't believe Mohamed told them everything.

"We have no information that he claimed it was a bomb," police spokesman James McLellan said. "He kept maintaining it was a clock, but there was no broader explanation."

"It could reasonably be mistaken as a device if left in a bathroom or under a car. The concern was, what was this thing built for? Do we take him into custody?"

Police did take Mohamed into custody, hands cuffed and two officers escorting him from the building, taking him to take his fingerprints, a mug shot and to meet his parents, KXAS reported."

When it comes to devices that look like bombs in high schools ... I'm on the side of handcuffs first, questions later.
Um, what constitutes looking like a bomb? Wires and circuit boards? A refrigerator full of cherry syrup?

Don't fucking start with me ... the point here is that you err on the side of slightly stepping on the civil rights of one student in the interest of protecting a hell of a lot more of them from getting blown up.

        We're done.

Blown up from what? Some wires and a circuit board? How the fuck does something look like a bomb when it doesn't have anything explosive or explosive looking inside it?

Right, right you've previously made it clear that you're not a scientist. Your position on civil rights of children makes me wonder what else you're not.

Excellent attempt at ignoring the pertinent post

So there is a grey power that is explosive?

Tell me what else on this list of chemicals founds in schools could be explosive or dangerous.

So do they let students enter the school with phones? You could remove the back and put that in there! Do they let them enter with lunchboxes? Think of how much explosive power connected to a battery could be hidden in one of those things!

Based on your argument, pretty much everything should be considered a bomb. Fucking brilliant.

If it doesn't look like this, I'd walk past it. I need to brush up on my bomb equipment and devices on google images.
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

I made it when I was a teen

It's so easy to make, even now, it's not funny

So you actually did make a bomb? Were you handcuffed?

Regardless, that somehow means that a clock made by a Muslim kid should be assumed to have this inside it?

Why shouldn't it be assumed that every kid is carrying this stuff around as well?
