I heard Rosencrud will present him
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

His numbers bear this out. And he's not the one who got tired in the Super Bowl.

        He'll say that he's a first ballot HOF'er

That he's second all time in receiving yards.

Mixed emotions on it. Strictly numbers, he's in. But he was a cancer for every team he played for. Even when he resurrected his career with the Bengals, they still didn't want him back.

Hollis Thomas had some interesting things to say about T.O. recently. He said Owens really wasn't a problem in the locker room.

Thomas also said that Reid and Banner had promised Owens that they would "make his contract right" if he played well and when they didn't he flipped out. He also said that if Reid and Banner had stuck to their promise Owens never would have been a problem.

Finally he said the problem between Owens and McNabb was because McNabb didn't back Owens, saying he didn't get involved in other player's contracts. That might not have been a problem, but McNabb publicly backed Westbrook in contract negotiations.

You always find out the truth later

All the sh*t we were saying when it was happening. I said it a million times: They (Banner/Reid) used that whole character thing against T.O. to lowball him in to Philadelphia on what they told him was a show-me deal. When he did SHOW them, they reneged and f*cked him over. This is the kind of sh*t that made Banner the undisputed salary cap champion of the world. All those years of McNabb's prime WASTED on dogsh*t supporting cast. What a joke. I totally believe that stuff about company man McNabb not supporting Owens. Totally.

Yep TO got fucked by the Segway driver.
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

If you remember, TO got fucked by his agent and lost his free agency, then Banner engineered it with the NFL to get TO traded to Philadelphia instead of Baltimore, then Banner fucked him over on renegotiating his contract. Boy did JoeLo show TO.

I agree. He should be in. Wish he could have finished his career as an Eagle. His first game back with Dallas was the craziest parking lot scene I've ever experienced - and remember the walkways shaking when Lito picked Romo off to ice it? Wow.

Off the top of my head i believe the contract was like $49 million for 7 years. None of the large part of the money was front loaded.

I remember that game so well. I was nervous as hell on the edge of my seat. If I remember I think that was the game Lito Sheppard took a pic 6 from Romo on the final drive to seal the deal

Well you don't because TO was paid $10 million in year 1 and $1 million in year 2. Because JoeLo took the entire $10 million cap hit in year 1, if TO had been cut say due to injury in year 2, the Eagles could have cut Owens for no cap hit. That's why Owens wanted to renegotiate and why JoeLo did not.

Don't ever forget that TO's firing offense was complaining that Lurie and Banner had no class.
