While some have bailed or are not sold on Chip, and keep talking about a retreat to college, only week 3 is in the books and there are 19 other NFL teams with an identical (or worse) record.
As crappy as the Eagles have looked for the most part thus far, injury-decimated Dallas leads the division by just one game. Vegas odds of the Cowpies winning the Super Bowl went from 12-1 to 21-1. Meanwhile the Eagles odds ahve gone in the opposite direction.
For all the injury angst about Bradford, he is healthy while Romo, Cutler, Brees and now Roethlisberger have gone down.
Foles? Healthy, but also 1-2, nearly identical stats to Bradford and leading the 26th place offense. Oh yeah. And he lost to Mike Vick.
Bradford, who going into the season hadn't played for nearly two years and is in a new offense with a new coach, has shown flashes. He dominated halves of two games. Opinion: I think his upside and his downside cant be evaluated on three games, and I think he will round into form as the season goes on and be very productive.
Receivers have not given Sam much help. But Matthews is ranked as the 5th most productive in the NFC while Maclin, whom Kelly refused to give star money to, is 44th and at the bottom of the AFC doing mop-up duty and blocking badly.
FF? Also 1-2, paid Maclin top dollar.
OPINION: Nobody on this bored and I mean NOBODY hates Dallas more than me or dislikes trading with them or signing their players more than me. Nevertheless...I would rather have DeMarco Murray in the Eagles' whirlpool bath than on the C*ntboys roster trying to save their season.
