Coming out of college Samantha had all the desirable qualities of a starting quarterback in the NFL. He has a strong arm, he's accurate and he can make all of the NFL throws. However, his time with the Rams probably stunted his growth and development and now we see the quarterback he is today.
He is very quick to take the check down and does not look to extend a play with his legs and keep his eyes down field. This was the first game where he really took some shots deep and he was actually successful.
Hopefully he can grow from this. Overall, our team is playing low caliber football but I am willing to give Samantha Bradford some time to develop his quarterbacking skills in the coming weeks.
Or maybe he has already developed Fulminant David Carr Syndrome and won't hack it in the NFL.
I would take the wait and see approach in regards to his contract.
