Even Carroll admitted it was the wrong call. Hilarious.

Why is it the Seahawks always benefit from blatantly wrong calls?

Remember the game against the Packers during the replacement ref era? Golden Tate, I think, benefitted from some crazy call in the end-zone for the win.

      Craziness.

I actually went "Can he do that?" when he batted it out.

I didn't know the rule, but when there was no flag I assumed it was legal.

PS - That fucking cunt of a horseshit explanation by the back judge, saying he thought an obvious overt bat of the ball was "inadvertent" is right there with "the check's in the mail" and "it's only a cold sore."

I guess he had a bad view.

These asshats call shit that isn't there and don't call what's obviously there to the point that OB is right, it's getting unwatchable.

Any big play I see is immediately followed with "was there a flag?" in my thought process.

Agree that the call was blatantly missed

However, both that rule (that batting in out of the endzone negates the turnover) and the rule that a fumble that leaves the endzone is a turnover are fucking stupid and should be changed.

Good Question. Not sure what works better, but I hate the idea that a fumble through the sideline goes back to the offense, yet a fumble that crosses the goal line is a turnover.

                  And that's why I wasn't watching

Your photo isn't worth a 1.000 words, it's worth about 7 billion words.

What a fabulous shot of some totally incompetent asshole staring right at the paly and still ruling incorrectly. As in the vast majority of games played now, the final score is Zebras 1, players 0. Of course, there will be ZERO accountability for the terrible ruling.

That's right Worthless Roger, lets play more games in London where they could give two shits about NFL football. No need to tinker with the tragic officiating.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I refuse to believe these refs are as bad as they have been showing us. There's some shady shit going on (not that this is breaking news or anything).

The only two excuses are gross incompetence or the "shading" of the calls to on team's benefit.

I am still 100% convinced that last year's cowpies/Lions playoff game was out and out fixed.

I personally think, in this case, it's just as likely that the incompetent fucktard didn't know the rule and made up that inadvertent shit when he realized he fucked up because he didn't know the rule.

EDITED TO ADD: In the interest of full disclosure, I'm saying this because I didn't know the rule, but then I don't referee for money.

I too call bullshit on the subjective no-call excuse. The ref didn't know the rule. Incompetent boobs.

Agreed on this call, but the overall incompetence and shadiness in general makes it feel pointless to invest anything in this crap.

The wonderful excuse they used on every play where they had no idea of what happened.
