    Hawkinson

I really liked Hawkinson as a prospect coming out. This is a top-flight athlete at the offensive tackle position and the kind of guy who can play the way we want our lineman to play. Nothing wrong with taking a gamble on him here, he's still young and hopefully we can turn him into something.

With that said, it's looking more than more likely that we're going to have to address the guard position with either a decently-priced free agent or a fairly high draft pick. Maybe a guy who plays guard for a year or two and takes over at RT when Peters is done.

The guards are killing this offense.

Kelce's first four games this season were awful, far worse than either of the players lining up next to him. On Sunday he finally played the way he had been the past two seasons so hopefully he is back to normal. Solid play from the Center will help the entire line. Im not saying these guards are great players but it is difficult to perform well when the guy in the middle is lunging around like a drunken pigeon.

Thanks, now I can't get the image of a drunken pigeon out of my head.
