I suggest this location aka former portopotty row. Always plenty of parking, there are only 1-2 regular bigger tailgates there.

its along the grass, so there is some extra room to hang without hassle... PLUS when the lot shuts down, the other side of the grass there is more room to hang.

You would be stealing the regular gating spot for another group, and that area would make it very difficult to reserve spots for others.

We park about 100 yards from that spot (Against the fence on Broad St). Those spots are empty at 6:00AM but fill up by about 730-8:00.

it's a bit of a walk and I haven't been there for a couple years now but we used to go behind the Swedish museum. There was plenty of room and grass to be able to hang in. There was plenty of room the last time I was there anyhow.
