  • the way the Mutts lost was great

any Mutts loss is great but to have the floodgates opened on the error and then the five-run 12th inning and all the fans leaving made it even better.

Never wanted to see them in the World Series but it couldnt have been any better as a crash and burn.

Three games in which they were leading in the 8th inning or later only to end up losing the game.

There is nothing sweeter than seeing Mutts fans have their victories ripped from them at the last possible second. That fanbase (along with Dallas) can't suffer enough IMO.

I couldn't agree more. They can rehash those frustrating losses for years in the same way the '93 Phils haunted us when they blew two games in the WS.
