  • Be honest with me, those who suffer from SAMonella

If he continues trending in a positive direction, and the Eagles win 10 games and a playoff game, do you re-sign him?

I think you'd be foolish not to with the current state of NFL quarterbacks. Even a lock like Luck is struggling.

There was an AP article this morning about his trending improvement. Sure if he plays out the rest of the year banging out qb ratings over 100 and limiting turnovers and wins a playoff game then we all probably eat crow and you sign him up. But I'll believe it when I see it. I've been fooled by a good half of Bradford ball before and as W put it, "fool me twice and, um, I won't get fooled again."

if that happens, it'll be interesting to see if and how much better he does versus 4/74 mil or whatever he was offered earlier.

He said he never saw that offer, so I think that's a myth.

Couldn't you franchise tag him for another year of "testing"?

I would want to buy as much time as possible before I commit.

These posts look like the ones we read after the Green Bay pre season game when The debate was where to put the statues of Chip and Sam.

Now, as we are in the middle of a stretch against the worst teams in the league, the kool aid will run out again but nothing has really changed. Chip has beaten the bad teams since he got here. Sam is mediocre on a good day. Chip and Sam........does anyone really think that it's a match that will take us to the SB?

Or have we just given up on the idea.

Absolutely. if the plan is to keep starting over at QB until we find the next Aaron Rodgers, we're going to be waiting a long time. If he shows he can win, and stay healthy, you've got to stay with him at least one or two years to see if he can get even better, and if they can build a contender around him.

I don't think we'll ever know with these WRs, unless Matthews figures shit out. That's asking a lot though, Bradford and Matthews both remembering how to play again.

Yeah, get another WR in here and re-stabilize the OL, then see what he can do for a year. Not like there's any other options at QB anyway.

Matt Cassel had a 105 rating and 3 TDS in that game.

For me, he's got to cut way back on the picks.

Hypothetical and unnecessary conversation at this point. One game is not a trend. In fact, he was trending down the three weeks prior to Dullass.

But forced to make a decision today, I find a different QB after this season.
